Sell more products thanks to a 3D product explorer

How nice it would be if every customer read your entire product catalog from A to Z, including detailed descriptions of the various features. And then became so enthusiastic that he or she immediately placed multiple orders. Oh well, we can always keep dreaming....

Back in the real world, marketers are busy looking for the ideal solution to get as much relevant information to the customer as efficiently as possible. We marketers, yes I am one too, know that no customer is waiting for endless product descriptions. Your target audience wants to get to the heart of the message quickly. That's where they make the decision within seconds whether the information is relevant to them. It is therefore very important to attract and keep their attention. For example, by visualizing exactly what you do.

Communicate the added value

Especially manufacturers of products that are difficult to understand or are hidden somewhere in a bigger picture often have trouble communicating their added value. For example, CIREX is a manufacturer of metal automotive parts, such as fuel pump housings and door locking mechanisms. These are all parts that are "invisible" in the bigger picture. They were looking for a tool that would allow them to quickly and clearly communicate about their products.

In collaboration with advertising agency Twentse Storm, C4Real developed a 3D product explorer for CIREX. This allows CIREX's (potential) customers to look through a car or truck, as it were, and see at a glance how CIREX's products are applied. This allows customers to be informed efficiently about all their products and immediately see the added value of their products in the bigger picture. This not only provides clear product descriptions, but also creates an extra sales opportunity, as the customer immediately sees what other products they offer. Knowledge transfer and sales conversion in one.

Ideal for displaying large products

You can use a 3D product explorer in a Web site as well as offline. Imagine you have a product that is large in size, such as Field in a box from TenCate. That is literally a soccer field in a large container. Far too big to take to a trade show or a customer visit, for example. But you still want to show it there to make people enthusiastic.

TenCate can now give visitors and customers on location a very good idea of what such a field looks like via interactive 3D. Without taking a step, every meter of the field can be viewed. It is also possible to look under the field, thus focusing on the water filtration system. So a great tool to create a wow moment for booth visitors.

Everything is possible

The 3D product explorer can be used in a variety of ways. For example, take it to sales meetings or trade shows and make it part of your product catalog. In this way, you can implement the 3D product explorer in your website without visitors having to download a plug-in. By doing so, you remove a major barrier, downloading unfamiliar software.

Whether you want to rotate the product 360 degrees, pull it apart (the so-called exploded view) or zoom in strongly: everything is possible. You can also very easily highlight certain points. For example, a pop-up can appear with extra information when zooming in on a certain part. This in turn can be linked to a white paper or an installation video. Which in turn is conducive to your content marketing. Measure in real time how your users interact with the tool and use this data to even better tune your marketing and R&D to the needs of your customers!
