Teamwork

Ton Kuper, CEO of C4Real: "We are very proud of this achievement and want to thank all involved for their efforts. And of course we especially thank our client Achmea for the trust they showed in us in creating this unique VR case."

Achmea Metropolis

Visualize the complexity of the entire IT landscape by developing a concept and solution that all IT and non-IT people understand. That is the assignment C4Real received from Achmea. This resulted in the Achmea MetroPolis; Achmea's digital IT city with a fully interactive experience and storyline in Virtual Reality.

Visualizing such a highly complex IT landscape in VR has never been done before. It is one of the first real business cases of VR technology in the field of change management in the IT sector. Without extensive IT knowledge, the whole thing was out of reach, but now it is. Even employees not working in the IT department now understand what is happening when in Achmea's systems. It is a giant step forward compared to the boring and complex IT architecture boards on the wall, where every part has the same color and you actually have no idea what you are looking at. Thanks to MetroPolis, people get excited about the way Achmea works and exactly how IT works. Employees can now really experience this.
