THE CHALLENGE: COMPLEX RESEARCH IN UNDERSTANDABLE LANGUAGE

The number of passengers and freight transport is growing significantly. In the coming decades, heavier, faster, and more trains will be running. The rail network, which has been in service for some time and is often on a soft foundation, will be subjected to heavier loads. It is uncertain whether the railway embankments can handle the growth of the trains in a changing climate. This is therefore the subject of a scientific study, conducted by Deltares in collaboration with ProRail and TU Delft. But how do you explain this clearly and consistently to all internal and external stakeholders? C4Real came up with the solution by using a virtual 3D animation.
