PRESENTATION OF MODULAR INNOVATION
As a leading player in the technical security industry, Alphatronics operates in a specialist niche market. With the UNii system, they developed a modular central unit for intrusion detection and access control, an innovation that Alphatronics is very proud of. The many technologically advanced features meant that expectations were high, which is why they asked C4Real to help think about a presentation that does justice to the product and directly shows customers, prospects, and other stakeholders what solution UNii can offer them.

Alphatronics wanted to present UNii during a customer event, through a spectacular animation film that was shown to visitors on large screens. However, the versatility and comprehensiveness of UNii is so great that C4Real advised taking a different approach, as an animation film would not be able to fully highlight the possibilities. A teaser was explicitly chosen to make the latest innovation known to the world. At a later stage, the unique components of the UNii system can be showcased through separate films.
“After a first version, I indicated what I would like to have changed. They picked it up so quickly that we had the final product in no time, which saved a lot of time and therefore costs. We made a combination of 3D and 2D visuals. The emphasis is on 3D, as there is a lot of movement. This way, you can really see how innovative the UNii system is. On the advice of C4Real, we deliberately chose an animated film in this style with many 3D visuals, because it really draws you into the film.”
CLEAR VISUALIZATION
By focusing on the introduction of the new concept in the teaser, a difficult-to-communicate product has nonetheless been clearly visualised. This way, the customer is not overwhelmed with (complex) information, but rather the information is shared that triggers the viewer and where a follow-up can provide more depth. Jos Herrebrugh: “The presentation was very well received. The feedback from our customers on the new system has been very positive, the animation made a good visual impression. The teaser was a great start. Now it's time to share it and create follow-up animations about the different features of the UNii system, such as the new configuration software. The teaser itself invites conversation and that is exactly what we want.”
