OOMT is the development fund of the mobility sector, which consists of 80,000 employees and 12,000 employers. They support the sector with coaching, research, events, and career advice with the aim of elevating the sector to a higher level.

The rise of electric vehicles has a significant impact on car companies; it not only requires less maintenance but also new knowledge. Many car companies find it difficult to cope with these changes. OOMT sought an appealing means to raise awareness and provide support.

For this wonderful challenge, we developed a very realistic VR experience: an interactive, virtual environment of the garage of the future. VR, 3D animation, 2D animation, audio design, and storytelling come together uniquely. The means to give the garage owner insight into the future and a first step towards transformation.

THE QUESTION

While car companies are currently still mainly focused on internal combustion engines, a major change is on the horizon. Electric vehicles are the future, but car companies are not yet making this topic a priority. OOMT aims to raise their awareness of the upcoming changes and the impact on their businesses.

‘’Our target audience sometimes finds it difficult to discuss serious topics. That’s why we sought a means that directly piques interest and can prompt conversations,’’ says Ellen Hiep, communications advisor for OOMT.
