The Museumfabriek in Enschede is not a traditional museum. It does not reside in a typical museum building and it is not a museum where you may only observe all the special objects from a distance. On the contrary: it is a museum where you are surprised, become amazed, and get to work yourself. Along the way, you find yourself in different worlds: those of nature, technology, art, and culture. But how do you present the collections in a cohesive manner and introduce the museum as a whole? C4Real faced this question and devised the solution: a unique promotional film that takes you through the museum and conveys the experience.

Through a number of brainstorming sessions, the ideas emerged for what we wanted to include in the promotional film. Nikki Olde Monnikhof (Head of Public at the Museumfabriek) says: ‘It was a process where, with the help of storyboards, it became increasingly clear what we did and did not want in the promotional film. C4Real was able to empathize well. They were good at thinking along in the spirit of the organization and were also open to our ideas. The collaboration was very pleasant.’ Nikki continues: ‘Moreover, they have many different talents in their organization. For every specific question, there was a good answer or solution coming back from the relevant specialty, which was very nice.’
