GreenFields is a manufacturer of artificial grass sports field systems, used all over the world for sports such as American football, hockey, football, and baseball. GreenFields USA from Atlanta asked C4Real to think along about the product communication for the new system: the MX3 star. A product in which the top layer, middle layer, foundation, and drainage are offered as an integrated system.

To map the customer journey of the target audience as effectively as possible, C4Real has deployed various applications. We have explored how to provide the target audience with the right information at the right time. Based on this, we developed a visual content strategy for GreenFields, which has been rolled out to various implementations for different customer and prospect needs.

The first development was a short promotional film, executed in animation, in which the new system is presented. Subsequently, we created 3D stills from that which were used on the website and in offline communication such as brochures, banners, and exhibition materials. This maintained the same atmosphere and product identity everywhere, which ensures greater recognizability. Additionally, we developed a product explorer, allowing interested parties to view the field from different angles in 3D and click on the various layers of the field. This way, they discover what each layer does and what its role is in the overall system.

The approach we developed for Greenfields USA was well received, because there was an opportunity for the different target groups and their needs to see exactly what the sports system can do and how it distinguishes itself from other solutions in the market. A nice transition from just static product information to an interactive and visual approach.
